In case you were unaware, Debbie Harry holds a 100% irrefutable lifelong membership in The Coolest of the Cool Humans Club. That is what makes this announcement so FREAKING AWESOME!!!
Debby Harry is Teaming Up With Artist Shepard Fairey to Create a Clothing Line.
No joke! It's really happening!
Shepard Fairey, if you didn't know (I didn't), is a graphic artist and social activist behind such work as the Obama Hope Portrait and so many other cool pieces! (Check them out here, I personally love love love Peace and Justice.)
These two are going to make the most awesome clothing of all time. Giving them the Awesome Award is almost pointless, because they are so much more awesome than I will ever be. But I can shout from down here, among the lamebrains and wannabes and be one of the many lifting up the awesomeness of this new venture.
I can't wait to see it, I can't wait to wish I could afford to buy it all.
