Sometimes then we talk about diversity, we start talking about it like it's some kind of charity. Like it's just something we do to be nice, and not something that's good for all of us. That's why I was so pleased to come across this article about all the research-based evidence for the benefits of diversity.
When a meeting is going to be more diverse, we prepare better. We expect to have more opinions in the room and we are ready to discuss them. We are actually more creative and innovative, and wind up coming up with better solutions.
