This song was hip and happening while I was working summers as a housekeeper at my university. (Side note: housekeeping at university is a sweet gig - it pays well, and once you get the crust off the dorms after the students have moved out, it's pretty chill.) We would put the TV on Much Music in the common room all day while we were cleaning floors, and this song was in heavy rotation. I danced my way through many window squeegee sessions to this song.
