Holding Space

“What does it mean to hold space for another person? It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they’re on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome. When we hold space for other people, we open our hearts, offer unconditional support, and let go of judgment and control.”
— Heather Plett

For me, the hardest part of holding space for someone is to not try to fix them or impact the outcome. I always want to make everything better, but that's just not how it works.

Sunny Lines

Guy Yanai's sunny paintings that use only straight lines are just plain fun to look at.

Four Agreements to a Better Life

Surgeon Don Miguel Ruiz came up with four agreements to make with himself for a more fulfilling life.

1. Be impeccable with your word.
2. Don’t take anything personally.
3. Don’t make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

Performance

Liz Miller-Kovacs is a performance artist who does some interesting work.

Selfless Portraits

What an incredible idea! An art project where people draw each other's Facebook profile pictures.
