Me & Ryan Gosling, making movies in Montreal

The summer after university I participated in the greatest program ever created by the Canadian government: J'Explore. In this program, full-time students get PAID to go live in a French-speaking part of Canada and learn French. So I got to go live in Montreal for 6 weeks, re-invigorate my French, and, more importantly, be in Montreal. Ryan came to visit for a bit while I was working on a class project - we had to use these ancient video cameras to make movies.  He commiserated by pulling out his little film camera.
