Middle-Aged Success
On Twitter, Melissa Hunter called for what I have been craving for years: an end to 20 under 20 or 30 under 30 lists, and instead for people to share their middle-aged successes and new ventures.
At the end of 2020, instead of 30 Under 30 and NextGen lists, please profile middle-aged people who just got their big breaks. I want to read about a mother of 2 who published her first novel, a director who released their first studio feature at 47, THAT'S THE LIST WE WANT.— Melissa Hunter (@melissaFTW) January 7, 2020
There are a lot of book deals in the respones, but also people who started a new business, bought their first drum set, got master's degrees, or went on a trip they had always dreamed about. It's glorious and inspiring.
CMYK
Ryan Szulc's CMYK photo series is a stunner.

How to Win
"How you gonna win, when you ain't right within?"
-Lauryn Hill
I decided to try to learn all the words to Lauryn Hill's song Doo-Wop (That Thing), and this refrain really stuck with me. THANK YOU, Ms. Hill, for sharing that wisdom so many years ago!
Twiggy Saints
Artist Chris Kenny has taken to collecting twigs and shaping them into figures. These have made the rounds on the internet as dancing twigs, but he's actually made them to emulate saints, which is more fun if you ask me.

The Dog Days Are Over
Everything about this choreography lifts my spirits. The moments of relative stillness, the explosions of movement, the way the dancer's faces shift from neutral to the joy of freedom in the song, and the bits of truly silly movement. MY HEART!
