Japanese Space

This article on the Japanese concept of space is fascinating and beautiful! If you are unfamiliar, give it a read and then see how your mental relationships to space, objects, and architecture subtly shifts. I especially love the concept of ma, or negative space - "the free zone that allows for dissimilar things to co-exist."

Uneven Growth

“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. we grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. the past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.”
― Anaïs Nin

Because

I love this comic quite dearly. A good reminder for when we want ask questions with obvious answers (that also maybe aren't our business).

(PS: If you aren't familiar with Instagram, there are multiple panels! Just click the little, almost-invisible arrows!)

The Doctor is In

Love this Lucy and Chuck remix from The Curious Brain.

Password Panic

If we all think about it, we can really identify with those poor guys down in Hawaii...

No Retreat

“We cannot retreat to the convenience of being overwhelmed.”
