We all know that sleep is good for us. It's good for not being grumpy, it's good for not accidentally killing people when you drive to work, it's good for not going insane, and it's good for staying alive.
Turns out, it's also good for flushing toxins out of your brain.
When you sleep, hidden caves open up in your brain and release cerebrospinal fluid that flush out neurotoxins.
COOL, RIGHT?
This is giving me one more reason to consider trying the whole "napping" thing.
